In other news, I'm hard at work - literally. I'm working at the Christmas Store, Christmas Presence. Every year we set up a whole new store and every year it's a ton of work! So that's where I've been spending a lot of my time. After this week the store will be open and then I'll be working regular shifts. Then things will be more predictable. It's fun to set up a store but there is pressure to get finished by deadline and it sometimes means long nights and busy days. That and school - school has so much reading!!!
My oldest daughter turned 13 yesterday! Happy Birthday Claire!!

Here are some birthday beads and some birthday beading! Well I beaded yesterday with my friend Calinda and the birthday beads were waiting patiently for the last two weeks to be opened. Thanks so much to Victoria, Grace, Judi and Dody! Today I hope to do some fun things with my family! I'll keep ya posted!

Another Weekend Away

Heey,
So after spending almost three days sleeping from this ridiculous cold, I'm going camping with the family. I got the groceries, have some laundry in and I just want to sleep. Now I don't mind the odd cold but does it have to completely wipe me out? That's just not fair!! I feel so behind in things!
Enough complaining! I'm going to have a good time enjoying the fall colours and getting inspired from them. I'd love to pick leaves and iron them in waxpaper and stick them to the windows. Hopefully we'll be able to start collecting some great samples! Soon I'll have pictures!
So bear with me - those who still might be reading - I'll be back soon!

Hi Everyone!
It's been a long time - and a lot of kilometers since I last posted! We drove out to BC and back and we had a fantastic trip! Things went off without a hitch! The trailer was awesome, the dog is a great traveller and the kids were amazing! We saw some neat wild life, met up with family we hadn't seen in years and visited out old house in Victoria. The children lost their heart in Banff and Victoria and I suspect that if someone magically dropped a couple of jobs in our laps, we'd be hard pressed to find an excuse to stay here. As a matter of fact, the girls kept asking "Why did you move?"
So the pictures will be forth coming and more stories but I came home to lots of responsibility and a great desire to bury my head in the sand. Instead I got a nasty cold and immediate deadlines! A month really is a long time to be away!
