I want to thank everyone who has complimented me on my Through The Looking Glass Piece. I really had a lot of fun and drive to create that piece and it was really interesting to dig through my stash to find the beads that worked so amazingly well in it.
I was thinking of compliments and their importance in our lives. I was also looking at my list of blogs that I visit and the list of blogs that are on other people's blogs. I look for mine there. I don't see it that often but I was thinking that it would be a real compliment to see my blog on someone else favourite list. I was also remembering when an artist I knew re-formatted her list and took my name off her blog and the slight hurt I felt at that.
So in the next few days, I'm going to add to my list of blogs that I frequent and I'm going to update it with the blogs I go to. It's a good long list and it's a compliment to each of everyone that I look at your blogs.

I don't have a blogroll per se--i just visit the ones who have updated, through feeds----i've lost interest in some because they do the same thing over and over. Some barely blog at all, some lost focus--that being said, yours is bookmarked in my "Canadian sites of interest" :}

I subscribe to your blog in my Google Reader. If I put all the beading blogs that I love in my sidebar, it would be a million miles long! LOL.

I agree with you about someone posting your blog on theirs. I felt complimented also when mine was posted on someone else's. I would like to post all of the group's blogs on my own blog. I always check out everyone that posts on the main blog and lists their link. I also try to post a comment to let the person know I looked. Sometimes though I have not mainly because I keep running out of adjectives! I don't want to keep repeating myself. However, I know I do, but it is really heart felt. I have looked at your work and enjoyed it, and hopefully posted before.
I love the beginnings of your new doll (and the completed one you posted,) especially the part around the face, how did you do that?
I will add yours to mine too. Keep up the great work, we will be looking! I have also greatly appreciated those people that have commented on my blog. As some have commented, it is nice to put yourself out there when you have doubts and get compliments in return!
You have blogs and/or websites listed that I want to add to my blog too. That is something else that is part of the fun of blogging, is seeing what everyone lists as blogs to check out. The other fun/downside to blogging is I enjoy it so much, I find myself still blogging an hour later, when I meant to get to my beading, or some other thing. Oh well, it has been a lot of fun and educational.

Hey! I found my blog listed here. It's the first time I've seen mine listed anywhere! I find yours a fun place to visit so I feel complimented to put you on my list which I haven't really updated. My blog either, guess I'd better get busy. Usually after reading so much I run out of time so quickly add people's blogs to my Favorites or Feeds lists. I really try not to forget where I've been and keep trying to get through all 200+ people on the BJP and then some list "interesting blogs" on their sites leading me astray even more. I can become a very distracted (but happy) blogger who should be beading, not blogging!LOL

Third...and most important of all, and this is probably SO obvious, but how do you add a blog to a favorite blog list??? I've been puzzling over this for days. Like I said, it's probably so obvious...
