My netting is crooked so I'm posting these progress pictures to see if the the wonderful folks at All About Beads will tell me if I should keep going or if I should cut it and rework it. Cheers, Denise
Denise, it looks to me like the skirt shape is causing the beaded netting to behave this way. I'm no expert, but you might try some couching stitches here and there to see if you like the effect. The only other way I can see working is to decrease the number of beads in the netting pattern where the skirt "narrows". Good luck Christine (missmuffettwo)

I am thinking about doing this on my next hair barrette. I suppose that you have several strings hanging from the top. Could you have started small and gotten large. Could you have worked this on a sheet of paper with macramé pins? I want to make wings with this technique. I am thinking about going to library and getting a book to look at but experience is a powerful teacher isn't it.
Hey Denise... where are you? Haven't seen you post anywhere in a while, I hope all is okay.
