I've always wanted to do a Give Away!
So what does your bead table look like? It is messy? Has it got too many beads on it? Has it got vellux? Is it fancy or simple like mine - a t.v. tray in the family room with my beads in a chest and also downstairs in my art room.
Post a picture of your bead table, or surface and leave a comment on this page with a link to the picture. At the end of the week, I'll pick a name and send you some seed beads!
Don't forget to click on the picture for a larger size!
On another note, here is an update of my Beaded Journal Project. Most of this has been done in 15's which allows me great detail in the colours of the leaves of the lotus. There is a lot more to go, so it's fun to show the progress pictures!!

I posted a picture of my beading try a few days ago. It is on my Crackpot Quilter blog at http://crackpotbeader.blogspot.com/2008/09/septembers-project.html I use a tray with a piece of vellux blanket on top.
When my kids went to college, they had to take extra long sheets and blankets. What in the world do you do with them after that? They're too long for any bed we have. Of course, cut off the bottom of the vellux blanket for bead mats!
My set up works well because I can put the tray on my lap and then put my feet up on the footstool.

Here's a link to my messy : BEADING TRAY.
This is actually much more neat than my tray usually is LOL. The photo also doesn't show the table next to my chair that is also loaded with beads and "things".

Hi Denise... first let me say, that BJP is GORGEOUS!
So I posted about my bead space on my blog. It's not too messy and there are NEVER too many beads. You should be able to click my name and be taken to my blog to see the pics. I really enjoy seeing the workspace of others as well.
It's cool to see the trays of others!!! I like to see where people create, it gives me a sense of connectedness. I used to love to see David Chatt's beading area when his partner used to have a blog.
I'm going to post the name of the winner tomorrow morning, that way if anyone else wants to play, they have all day today!
It was a short, sweet contest!
Cheers, Denise
Oh my Denise you are beading up a storm & a beautiful one at that!! How big is your piece??
First - I love the piece you are working on! I posted a picture of my work table on my blog this morning.

Of course you forced me to post pics of my progress on my BJP so far as well - thanks for that push LOL
hope it's not too late to play...if you click on my name it should take you to my blog with the desk photos...
Hi Denise!
Did I mention I like your BJP? ;-)
I think you already saw my beading place, but here are a couple of links for you.
I usually have my project on a tray and bead with the tray on my lap, as you can see here:
http://murphysbeads.makeswebsites.com/3/miscellaneous3.htm
(scroll down to the end).
If the project is too big, then I work on my corner bead table here:
http://murphysbeads.makeswebsites.com/8/12-TRUE-12.htm
Bubi likes it both ways, as he can lay on my legs, if I use the tray, or he can have the sofa with the plushes in the beady room, which is very interesting, especially because it's a forbidden room, only allowed when Mom's inside, otherwise it's shut.
